New year, new good stuff happening at BlackRiver!

Like what you ask?!

….Well, for starters, we’ve simplified and streamlined our credit guidelines – making it easier to do business with BRBC than ever before!

Secondly, we’ve introduced a new promotion for transactions under $20K (we pay up to 15 points AND first payment for qualifying transactions).

PLUS, our programs are now more competitive than EVER before!

Email or call 512-284-7688 to get the full details!

Lastly, we have added not one, but TWO (…and a half!) new additions to the BlackRiver Team (keep reading to get to know Kelly, Debbie, ...& Joey a little better)!

Q: What is your role at BlackRiver?

A: I am the new Director of Credit here at BlackRiver. I get to manage the credit underwriting process to ensure we are delivering the best possible level of customer service to our partners and customers.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Being able to help businesses grow and succeed through new equipment purchases.

Q: Before working at BlackRiver, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

A: Before I got into the financial world, I was a case manager for developmentally disabled adults. It was so rewarding to help my clients live full and productive lives out in the community.

Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?

A: Believe it or not, I wanted to be my mom. She was my hero…still is. If you ask my husband, he’ll probably tell you I’ve turned into her…but I’m great with that!

Q:If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring?

A: My husband and my 2 sons! They’re pretty entertaining, so there would never be a dull moment.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?

A: Does sleep count?? But really, I like being in the outdoors with my family. Hiking, swimming, fishing, or even just playing in a park, soaking up some Vitamin D!

Q: What is your #1 most played song?

A: Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson. It’s my boys’ favorite song. They can sign all the words (minus the ones they aren’t allowed to say!) and can listen to it over and over again without getting tired of it.

Q: What is your role at BlackRiver?

A: I’m the Director of Documentation and Funding.

Q: What are three words to describe working at BlackRiver?

A: Fun, stable and picturesque (there’s a lovely view looking out the windows)

Q: What would you be doing if you weren’t at your current job?

A: I’m not sure, I would probably be at home with my kids.

Q: What’s your biggest pet peeve?

A: Procrastination. It drives me crazy to put stuff off. I don’t like having things hanging over my head.

Q:What super power would you like to have?

A: Mind Control. Then I could make my kids and husband do whatever I wanted.

Q: At which store would you like to max-out your credit cards?

A: Either Coach or Nike. But I’d like to max someone else’s out instead of mine,  then I don’t have to repay it.

Q: If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

A: Steph Curry. My younger son plays basketball and idolizes him. His room is now covered in Golden State Warriors/Steph Curry merchandise. That would make me super cool in his eyes.

The fluffiest addition to the team is Joey, the new office puppy! He doesn’t know a lot about leasing and likes to sleep on the job but we think he’s pretty cute!
